You love to talk, you’ve lived a little (or a lot!) and learned a few things, and you’d love share your experience for the benefit of other women. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!

Who we want to hear from

Mothers and child-free women aged 40-100 of all professions, faiths, ethnicities, geographies and lifetyles. In particular, we want to hear from women interested in speaking on the following topics:

Motherhood in retrospect: women with grown children

Day care options and the pros/cons of each

Career and work-life balance

Your regrets and how younger women can avoid their own

Successful marriages and relationships with and without kids

Important lessons learned the hard way

Single motherhood by choice, and by fate

Child-free and over 70: Senior living without kids

Mothering special-needs children

How it works

1. Selection and agreement

If chosen to interview, we start by answering all of your questions about the project. Once you agree to participate, you and the author sign a volunteer agreement that outlines the terms of volunteering and ensures your confidentiality.

2. The interview

We schedule a call at a time that is convenient for both you and the author. The interview lasts one to two hours, is recorded and covers personal aspects of your life as they relate to having or not having children. You share as much or as little as you like.

3. After the interview

After volunteering, you become part of a community of volunteers and are included in any special updates or invites reserved for volunteers only.
